This video looks at Ecological Pyramids. The energy transfer between trophic levels is typically only 10% efficient. In addition to the pyramid of production it also examines the the pyramids of biomass and numbers.

This lesson will explain energy transfers in an ecosystem by looking at food webs, food chains and energy pyramids.
