Phrases

The particle is similar to a preposition but is used much like an adverb and usually placed after the main verb.

A phrase is group of words beginning with preposition and ending with noun or pronoun.

Prepositions often begin prepositional phrases. To complete the phrase, the preposition usually teams up with a noun, pronoun, or gerund, or the object of the preposition.
