Type I, II, and III Sentences
This lesson is part 1 of a 4 part series on diagramming sentences. This lesson shows you how to diagram Type I, II, and III sentences, which are sentences that have predicates that are forms of the verb "to be" and have prepositional phrases, predicate adjectives, or predicate nouns as their subject compliments. It also touches on compound subjects and modifiers. This video shares a quick review and uses a diagram to analyze sample sentences.
