Y11 Reacting Mass Questions 5 and 6.
Both of these involve reactions with hydrochloric acid and both involve interpretations from a graph, where kinetics is also tested. Question 5 looks at the reaction between CaCO3 and HCl and then determines the identity of M in M(OH)2. Question 6 looks at the reaction between Mg and HCl. Note that 9min30s into the snapkast I wrote the formula CaCl2 where I should have written CaCO3.
Reacting Mass Calculation Series 4 No12.
In this video lesson, Mr. Scullion demonstrates a reacting mass problem involving volume of oxygen. Try the problem out on your own prior to finding out the solution.
Dimensional Analysis 2 - Metric Conversions
Craig Beals shows the basic steps of using dimensional analysis for converting units in metrics.
Gas Pressure Conversions
This chemistry lesson is titled Gas Pressure Conversions and will give a detailed explanation of the topic.
